In 2016 John Dilday put together the “Betty’s Pizza All Class Reunion,” which was an absolute blast with about 650 attendees. During this reunion everyone expressed how much fun it would be to put on an all class reunion every five years.

Three years later, I had my 40th Class Reunion with about 20 classmates in attendance. Also, in this same year, I heard that the 20-year reunion class also had about 20 attendees. I also heard from folks that were telling me their class never even had a 10-year reunion; others were saying their classes had reunions but were poorly attended because they didn’t know how to get the word out. The younger generations are not keeping up with this wonderful tradition and the older generations are shrinking in size due to age. Class reunions are a heritage that should not be forgotten!

Riverton is small enough that having an ALL Class Reunion/Celebration of Riverton is the perfect fit for our wonderful City, so I pulled together an amazing “Steering Committee,” which included past, present and future alumni, Fremont County School District 25 Superintendent, City Mayor, Chamber Director, Balloon Rally Club and the Community Engagement Committee. It has been determined that Riverton will begin hosting an “All Class Reunion/Celebration of Riverton” every five years beginning July 2020.

The RHS All Class Reunion:
A Celebration of Riverton

The weekend long celebration will be held the 3rd weekend in July in conjunction with the Riverton Balloon Rally. We will have links on our website with School District 25, City of Riverton, Chamber of Commerce and the Balloon Club so folks can go to any of these sites to get updated information on current and future celebrations, activities and events.

This will be the “new norm” for RHS class reunions!
